New York, NY –  Octagon Credit Investors, LLC (“Octagon” or the “Firm”) announced today that Amy Adar was appointed Chief Financial Officer, effective January 1, 2023. Ms. Adar succeeds Thomas Connors, who retired on December 31, 2022, after 23 years of exemplary leadership and service to the Firm. Andrew Gordon, Octagon’s Chief Executive Officer, commented: “We are extremely grateful for Tom’s numerous contributions to the Firm’s success throughout his career, and for his tireless efforts to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities to Amy. We wish Tom the very best as he embarks on his next chapter, and we congratulate Amy on this well-deserved recognition of her valuable experience and leadership capabilities.”

 

Ms. Adar will report to Mr. Gordon. As CFO, she will oversee financial functions across Octagon’s business, including accounting, audit and tax preparation, and reporting. Prior to her promotion to CFO, Ms. Adar was a Managing Director on the Accounting Team.  Prior to joining Octagon in 2016, she was an Assurance Manager in the Alternatives Investments Division at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Ms. Adar received a B.A. in Accounting & Information Systems and a Master of Science in Accounting & Information Systems from Queens College. She is also a Certified Public Accountant.
